Long Time no See!

So...it's been a while since I've been on here and a lot of stuff has happened...first off I got a job! I work (mostly) at the ImPress section of OfficeMax. It's a ton of fun and has been great so far. I went to another dance (girls choice this time) called preference. I took my friend Blake Bohacek and we had a blast. I also went on an FFA field trip to Logan, UT for state judging. I'm on the floriculture team and no one on my team knows anything! So it was great when we found out no one knew anything on any of the other teams either! So we ended up taking 6th gold in state. It was a fun and cold three days. Who knew cowboys could be so much fun? There was a dance that was hilarious, I learned how to swing dance and had a pack of interesting (creepy) boys from some small town following me. None of my friends would stand by me because they would follow me everywhere! It was fun..
So I think that's all so far...school and work is great. Sorry I haven't written in a while!

So mine and Nate's birthday are a little over a week apart, so we decided instead of doing two parties, we'd combine and do one huge one. So Friday night was full of friends, family and a lot of partying. All of my mom's daughters, daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law's sister came down for the big weekend (party and prom in the same weekend!). So it was more than a blast with all of the fam.

So now that i'm officially 16 i went on my first official date. The day started out at 9 a.m. There was 6 of us and the boys picked us up and took us to the beautiful red rocks of st. george where we went spelunking. I think that's what it's called. we went into a cave 100 ft. under ground and played hide and go seek and ate lunch. Then we hiked Dixie rock. That was followed with board games at Skylers house. But of course the second i got there i fell asleep (i was sick). Then I met the fam at Neilsons custard shop and then went home. I then frantically tried on my unfinished dress so it could be hemmed, went and got my hair done, sped back home to see Ahlin and her date off, got my make up and nails done, and then waited for my dress. Everyone came and our dear friend Ellen frantically tried to finish the dress. i was so grateful for her! It was the dress of my dreams. Then after she was done we took what seemed like hundreds of pictures and we were off to take more pictures at the dance. We ate then went to the dance. it was a great night!

Yes..my sweet sixteen was on a...Sunday. So I did all you could do on a Sunday. My daddy took me to breakfast and then I went to church. After church Niki made me yummy Gnocchi. While she was making it Nate snuck my present downstairs into my room. He made me a hope chest out of African Mahogany. It's way pretty. Then I ate dinner and opened my presents (cute clothes, lotions, movies, books..) then we had my angel food cake. After cake we watched Serendipity and we all went to bed! So all in all it was a pretty Sweet Sixteen!

Let it Snow!

Our student council has to constantly be doing something or else they get bored. So naturally the boys got the bright idea to go to Pine Valley, cut down a tree, drag it back and stick it right in the middle of the round-about. It's probably the most hilarious thing i've ever seen, and it took them like 4 hours to do. But in the end it was all worth it. So we took a pic in the winter wonderland!
