teeth.
i got them taken out today.
i may or may not have done some crazy things while on drugs that i don't remember, but my family is more than willing to share with me over and over.
thank goodness - i have yet to swell up. a little swelling - but not chipmunk status yet. hopefully it will stay that way.
i can't believe how lucky i am to have the family and friends i do.
david was ice police like no one's business. whether i was sleeping (which was most of the time) or sitting staring into the distance. every twenty minutes david was there to give me icepacks or take away old ones. i can't tell you how many times i heard him say today 'gina this is serious. 20 minutes on 20 off.' he even went to the store and got me a movie, and took care of all my messes. can you say husband material? he's incredible.
mom should get a medal. she sat there as i asked over and over 'mom am i a fatty?' she said i hugged her and told her i loved her every other minute, and would bust out laughing at random times when i was drugged.
honestly the only thing i remember is the nurse telling me over and over, georgina you need to open your eyes while you walk, as i laughed hysterically. i guess i was entertainment of the day for the office.
carlee came over at 4 and just barely left. that's eight hours of devotion i'll tell ya. she wouldn't eat in front of me because she felt bad i couldn't eat too. but i made her.
and dearest emily what can i say. i have the best of friends. she sat there a large portion of the day and night listening to me jabber about i'm pretty sure nonsense.
which reminds me...anyone who got an insane text from me. i'm sorry. i guess i sent a few of those out.
wow this is a long rant of nothing. i will probably delete this later. my whole screen is a blur. also. i'm on loritab. maybe i should have mentioned that earlier.
love to all.

it feels a little strange. i'm not going to lie. being graduated and all. i passed my old high school today and kinda squealed a little realizing i'll never be forced to go there at 8:15 am mon-fri august - may. death.
well i've been a little (a lot) sick this past week. which is no fun. i may or may not be watching sister act 2 on tv right now. it's a sad sight to see.
so here are some photos from grad. i'll post more from the grad trip later! thanks to my family who have supported me through it all. love!!

let's stop time
i've been informed by several people that i am a bad blogger. i accept this - with one refute. i actually post on my other blog more than this one. but it's nothing important. just photo shoots from my ap portfolio, and music i like. you can check it if you want. inthenameoffury.blogspot.com
anyway. it is 5:19 AM right now. i cannot sleep. my crazy snister is in bed with me. and she can't sleep either. so she told me to blog. i am not fully functional right now, and by the time this is through, it will probably make close to little sense.
big things in my life right now? i don't know. i'm graduating today.
am i nervous? yes.
am i excited? yes.
am i going to trip while walking? again...it is likely.
but that's ok! because right after grad, i get to spend 48 hours with my class on our grad trip! can you say disneyland, california adventure, and six flags?? me too.
after that lovely excursion, i will be thoroughly fried, and will probably sleep until i leave for college.
august 24th baybay (yes i am aware this is my best friends birthday. yes i am still crying about it. but there ain't no rest for the wicked).
and guess what. as we speak. . .well as i type, i am using the coolest graduation present of all time. my father loves me and knows EXACTLY what i need (besides the obvious TLC he so readily provides) . .
yes. that's right. a brandnew (i know that's not one word, but in my head i say it that fast)
macbook pro!! whoooooooo. i love it. and him. my father.
so i'm all set for college. just have to enjoy my last summer as free as a bird with my friends (mini agenda: pinto, california, oregon, provo. i'm working on seein most of the fam before i exile myself to the east coast!).
ok. i have to stop. this has turned into a ramble. love to my family. here are some senior pics, taken by the lovely jade.

. tegan and sara (the concert edition) .
words cannot express the pure joy of the bass beating through my chest during back in your head and alligator.
it was crowded. it was invasive. it was at times life threatening. but you better believe.
it was worth it.
love my besties for all coming. it was a blast.
tegan and sara are even better live. if you can believe that.
we got an acoustic encore with just tegan and sara. it was incredible.
i would highly recommend this adventure to one and all.
we may or may not have almost lost our lives several times due to kylie's inability to drive. and deer.
peace.
(so good when they played this)

.snap shot.
last night, i gave a quick update of what college is lookin like for me, but i thought i'd give you a little snap shot of life! it's been quite a while.
first off. my friend carlee and i adopted three fish over the summer. in october we thought it necessary to buy a water frog. her name was alma. she was perfect. we loved her. we fed her. we read her stories.
three days later...death.
it was traumatic.
we buried her at the park up the road.
last month, our first fish, pabo, decided it was her time too. i may or may not have cried. we buried her alongside alma.
on a happier note...christmas and my birthday were so fun. i absolutely loved having my whole family here. especially dad. it was so great to see him for so long over the break.
love my new fish eye camera. and niki. love of my life.
remember that post i did about the two things i wanted for christmas? well... the morning of my {18th!} birthday, dad fed me breakfast, and then took me to... Murdocks Music Store!! it was their last day of being open, so they were having killer deals. dad got me ...
a black telecoustic ibanez guitar!! happiness beyond words. let me tell you. three months later, and i'm still playing it every day. the next week i found a guitar teacher (he comes to my house once a week! it's awesome). last week i learned how to play barre chords. i can now officially say i can play the guitar, and read sheet music. (but nothing close to how my big brothers, trent and blake, can play. they're awesome :) i love having something to take my mind off of hectic life. mother corners me all the time and makes me play for her while she does taxes. love that woman.
And with all that birthday money my loving family sent me?? i bought the longboard of my dreams: the sector 9 mainland. it's sweet. it's possible that i have inflicted serious injuries on myself, and others because of it. worth it.
it's been freezing here! the other day i went out to my car, and had some sweet ice designs from the cold night before. i documented.
last month was prom. my friend josh asked me and it was super super fun. we went sledding and hot tubbing at my friends cabin in brian head. pure bliss.
that night, when he picked me up, dad was there!! so cool to have him see me off to a dance. a dream i've always had, come true.
those are just a few of the happnins out here.
i've been working like crazy on my portfolio, and have a blog dedicated to it, if you want to check it out.
my deadline is coming up! gotta keep bustin it out.
love to all.

.Time.
I applied for the college of my choice in November:
Southern Virginia University.
I applied for their main scholarship:
the annually renewable 15,000 dollar Marriott Scholarship, awarded to a few students
I crossed my fingers.
Over Christmas break I got a phone call from my admissions counselor, Chrystal Pate, congratulating me on being one of the first accepted to Southern Virginia University.
I just about died of happiness.
So I started getting on other scholarships.
I applied for Visual Art Sterling Scholar for my school. It was pretty random. I walked into my English teachers room, and she handed me a packet and said, I want you to do this. Fill it out. Write me an essay. Get it back to me in an hour.
She scares me at times. So I did what she said.
A month later, I get called down to the lecture hall along with dozens of others who applied for Sterling Scholar and was handed a letter. All the Visual Art applicants (there were 6 of us) decided to open our letters at the same time. After ripping it open, I discovered I had won Art Sterling Scholar for my school.
Meaning, I get my picture up in the hall until the school is burned to the ground, I get a couple hundred dollars, and get to advance to region. Which is next week.
All I need now is that Marriott Scholarship.
Tonight was our last basketball game. After the game, I looked at my phone and saw I had one missed call. Virginia number. I listened to the message. Dean of Admissions with an after hours number. I crossed my fingers and dialed.
He wanted to be the first to congratulate me to being awarded the Marriott Scholarship. I'm thanking the heavens every second.
Three months til graduation. I still can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was in the Fallbrook house singing with Lauren and Niki and Ahlin.
So much is happening. But those are the highlights on my future! I love my family. Love love.
heres a little taste of the four seasons in buena vista, va!
