My Babies.

I love these kids to death. I've babysat them for years and am so sad that they're moving for the summer. So I had to take them out for one last time before they left. It was so fun. So here's our day at the park.

I usually stick to putting my photography on my Seized Wonders blog, but I couldn't resist with this one. This boy came to me and wanted to surprise his parents with pictures to send in with his mission papers. So we decided to take his Senior Pictures at the same time. Here are just a couple. It was so fun, and I hope he has an amazing time on his mission!

Spotlight! - My Snister

It's time for another spotlight. Nothing exciting has really happened to me lately, so I thought I'd do a spotlight on...Ahlin! 

Since I was born I have gone through many different best friends. It seems like it changes every couple years. Things change, people change. But through it all I am proud to say I have had one best friend for 17+ years. Ahlin has been there for me through thick and thin. I'm not saying we haven't had our rough patches, because believe me, we have. But that doesn't change the fact that she is my bestie. I was talking to my mom last night, and I realized she is one of the only people I know, that I can be moody around, mean to, etc - and I don't feel one once less loved by her. She's been so mad at me at times she's physically attacked me (with much provocation I assure you). But after getting my butt beaten, I still knew she loved me more than anything. 

She's the one person I will be completely blunt to and speak my mind, and she takes everything I have to say into consideration. She has always cared so much about me and my interests. She was there for me when I started out photography, taking picture after picture of her. She even let me take her senior pictures, which were horrible now that I look back on them. But she didn't care. She acted like they were the most amazing things in the world. She is behind me 100% in everything I do. I appreciate that so much. 

She is so talented. I've never met a better scrapbooker in my life. Her sense of style is impeccable and she is the master make up artist. She is so smart, and I am so so so proud of her for getting accepted to BYU. She has so many friends and guys are falling at her feet. Who wouldn't.

 

I have always been jealous of her gorgeous eyes, mismatched eyebrows and lashes, luscious auburn hair, and elegant persona. She is a true beauty. One of a kind. I love you Ahlin!!

Photography Competition

This year, I'm in the HOSA club at my school. It's a medical related club, which I'm really interested in. Our first State Competition is coming up in 2 weeks at the end of spring break. I get to participate in 2 competitions.

I'm really excited about the photography competition. What I have to do, is present to a panel of judges, 3 pictures I've taken and edited, of 3 different medical fields.

I've already taken pictures for the first profession, phlebotomy. There was a blood drive at my school, so it was a perfect opportunity. The hardest part is picking just 1 picture out of a whole batch.

This is where you come in. It would be amazing if I could get your opinions on which picture I should choose out of this first batch. It has to be something I could talk about and describe to the judges for 1 minute on how it is medically related.
