My Hope Chest
Me in the Hope Chest
Yes..my sweet sixteen was on a...Sunday. So I did all you could do on a Sunday. My daddy took me to breakfast and then I went to church. After church Niki made me yummy Gnocchi. While she was making it Nate snuck my present downstairs into my room. He made me a hope chest out of African Mahogany. It's way pretty. Then I ate dinner and opened my presents (cute clothes, lotions, movies, books..) then we had my angel food cake. After cake we watched Serendipity and we all went to bed! So all in all it was a pretty Sweet Sixteen!

Let it Snow!
Our student council has to constantly be doing something or else they get bored. So naturally the boys got the bright idea to go to Pine Valley, cut down a tree, drag it back and stick it right in the middle of the round-about. It's probably the most hilarious thing i've ever seen, and it took them like 4 hours to do. But in the end it was all worth it. So we took a pic in the winter wonderland!

Bodies and Shopping
I got to go to the Bodies Exhibition (the most incredible thing i've ever seen by the way). I was with my Mom and Nate. So afterward we went to the Fashion Mall so mom could do a "little" shopping. We ended up being there for 9 hours. And since Nate and I were both broke all we could do was goof off. So in this pic we pretended we were twins. some people actually believed us too!

The Many Adventures of Gina and Aubree
during the summer we decided to go to denny's at some unspeakable hour...since my parents read this i will not say what hour that was. but it was fun!
aubree and i decided to collect as much change as possible during the summer because we were broke. I ended up collecting over 60 dollars in change in just a few weeks. I can't believe how much money you can find just that's just lying around!
when i was busy making the homecoming decorations, i got a little side tracked. i was put in the photo room to work, so there were a lot of props in there. so naturally we had to take pictures with them. the one with nate is the funniest.
WallMart put up their Halloween decorations and this was our favorite. he lifts his head off. but then an employee (who looked just like the guy we're hugging!) came over and got mad at us for taking a picture with it. so we ran away.
i have a very good friend named Aubree. And everything we do i document with my handy dandy picture phone. so..i hope you enjoy our adventures!

FFA
A couple of weeks ago the floriculture team took a little road trip to snow college for a contest against all of the Utah schools. We were just a group of oblivious girls that only knew how to make boutonnieres. So when it came to test time we all failed. But we had fun doing it! when it finally came down to making boutonnieres i ended up getting the highest score, and would have gotten a perfect 100 if i hadn't forgotten the dang pin. Oh well!
The Team
We love Nature
I think this is the Manti Temple?
This thing hold A LOT of wheat
I seriously thought this cow was going to plow through the gate and attack me. He apparently doesn't like getting his picture taken.
Aubree's didn't get that high of a score. but i thought it was cute.
We went to a ranch and this guy is my new hero. He was really neat.
Makayla's boutonniere didn't get that high of a score either. i think they didn't like us up at snow college.

Homecoming
This was one of my Homecoming pics. I wasn't old enough to go, but since i'm on student council, i had to help with the dance. i was in charge of decorations and lucky me, my order of stars didn't come in on time so with the help of some friends and about 40 hours of work later i had my stars (i had to make over 500 stars...i will never make a single star again in my life). the point of the story is, i got free pictures because i'm on student council. so i thought why not? so i grabbed some friends and headed on over there. Believe me, i have never been in such an awkward situation in my life, being in a room full of girl in gorgeous gowns and guys in their tuxedos, and then me in my jeans. but it was worth it. so here it is.
Halloween!
This is what i was last year...a fairy princess.
After much deliberation, nate and i decided to be Samurai Warriors. I know i'm to old for trick-or-treating, which is why we didn't do that. We participated in a program our school put on called "trick-or-treat so others can eat". We basically went door to door asking for canned food..and got a little candy on the way. It was a lot of fun and i look forward to next year! (if you read this post before 11/11/07 i apologize for the jibberish. My computer mixed up all of the sentences...weird i know. but now it's fixed!)
